So, I was searching for stock photos for my next blog, and I got so sidetracked by what I found, I had to stop and blog about that instead. I did a search for royalty-free images of adoption and guess what I found? Out of the 8 pages of stock photos I found…95% of them showed Caucasian parents with African American children and bi-racial same-sex couples with African American children.
So..um…are ANY African Americans adopting our own? Cause apparently, mainstream ain’t catching it on film, or don’t find it important to share.
Is this ALL people think adoption is?
Just thought that was interesting.
Anywhoo, just something to make you smile, while also stressing the foster/adoption kick I seem to be on.
