The National Black Midwives Alliance ( NBMA) is a Black midwife-led professional organization created to represent, strengthen, connect, and advocate for Black midwives and Black student midwives across the United States.
NBMA describes its goal as creating a national representative voice that organizes, advocates for, and brings visibility to issues affecting Black midwives and the communities they serve.
