I’ve decided to drink wine this evening. Yellow Tail makes a charming Merlot. A Merlot that has helped a bit. I plan to be at ease by the time I reach the latter half of it. Today warranted that sort of planning. You see, basically, I got the same “news” today that I’ve gotten before: Say it with me now: “There is NOTHING gynecologically wrong.” Really?

Issues

I'm not sure how many other women are sufferers of menorrhagia. I'm not sure how many other women hold this frustrating condition to themselves. Just about the only thing I am sure of is how much I hate it.

I don't know that pregnant women understand the work that goes into trying to be genuinely happy for them sometimes. We stifle all our feelings and sadness trying to do our best to put on a happy face and think about the bigger picture. Then they go and %$& it up by being jerks about the whole thing.

Why would an infertility site support a cause like No Wedding No Womb? Well, if you've been to The Egg before, and you've heard me rant, you already know the answer. However for our new friends and guests who may not understand, I will happily enlighten you. What could an infertility site possibly have to say about an initiative like No Wedding No Womb? Quite a lot, actually.

Do Not Lose Weight to Get Pregnant

Warning: I'm going to use the word HATE, a lot in this post. I HATE being told what to do. I hate seeing weight in the top list of things that cause infertility. I hate that it is something I cannot seem to get a handle on.

Speak up, Shut up, or Shut down.

Are we, the infertility community, too sensitive? Are our feelings the responsibility of those around us? Is it fair to superimpose our emotional baggage onto those who are unfamiliar with infertility?
